Event Description

Please join us on Saturday November 7th on the beautiful campus of St. Mary’s University for a fun-filled 5K fun/run, as together we raise community awareness about pancreatic cancer - the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the United States. This fun-filled event will include live music, DJs, and other family-friendly entertainment all while supporting a worthwhile cause. Event day check in and event day registration opens at 8:00 a.m. and the run/walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. Proceeds from this event benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing research, supporting patients, and creating hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer. Register on-line at www.pancan.org/purplestrideSA09 for $20.00, or you can register at the event for $30.00. Children 12 and under can register for $10.00 on-line or $15.00 at the event. All pancreatic cancer surviors are welcome to register for free. Please note that on-line registration ends on November 3. Please join us for a great time supporting a great cause!
