Robin Schmerber joined the CVB in September, 2007, with an extensive background in marketing and communications as well as meeting and project management. As a Senior Account Executive for an Austin, Texas marcom firm, Robin specialized in aviation accounts where she provided turn-key account support to local and international clients. Most recently, she served as a Client Liaison for the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, assisting meeting planners and event teams with all the operational details needed to produce a successful convention center event. During her tenure at the convention center, she managed events ranging in size and scope from private board meetings to banquets and all-center conventions.

Robin is a Texas native, born and raised in Kerrville—the heart of the Hill Country. She is a member of Meeting Professionals International, Alamo Area Hospitality Association and Urban Management Assistants of South Texas.
