Brenda’s career has centered on meetings, conventions and events as both a planner and a supplier. As an event planner, she was employed by a fortune 500 company and managed a multi-state organization responsible for corporate meetings, trade shows and associated hospitality events. At the San Antonio CVB, Brenda is responsible for assisting planners to increase their attendance, deter attrition and encourage attendees to extend their stay by promoting the destination, making it a win-win for all. Brenda is a member of National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners, Meeting Professionals International and the Religious Conference Management Association. She is married to Michael Square and they have three children and four grand children.
