America's rural roots. They're still growing tall and strong in our fields of dreams. And, most of them are less than thirty minutes from downtown San Antonio.
Pure country highways and byways trail off in every direction, up and over rolling hills, or across flat-as-a-pancake vistas. We have farms that could have been born and raised in Iowa and Kansas. Ranches that say "Texas" with geniune twang.
You'll find everything from rich blackland soil to red clay dirt, sand and caliche. So, if you're looking to increase your depth of field, all you have to do is hit our open roads.
If you didn't know better, you'd think this was right out of Africa. And what's really wild is that this is actually the "777" - a luxury resort ranch only a short drive from our city limits. Where exotic game roam, and the native guides speak with a decidedly Texas accent.
You can even get them to run a few head of buffalo your way, if you'd prefer the Wild West to the Dark Continent. So make plans to shoot San Antonio. With your camera, of course.
